Exterior Features
The 2016 Mazda CX-3 wears the manufacturer’s newest design themes and boasts black-painted rear roof pillars to provide the impression which this small crossover roof of SUV is floating with low support. The Grand Touring trim includes LED front running lights and 18″ aluminum wheels. The CX-3 is available in 8 different colors, including the ‘soul red’ which comes at an extra cost.

Interior Features

Technology
The newest version of the MazdaConnect infotainment system is available for the 2016 CX-3, using a freestanding screen atop center stack of controls and what Mazda describes as the commander control buttons surrounding the knob on the center console. This design is similar to the Multi-Media Interface (MMI) of Audi or iDrive of BMW.
Engine/ Fuel Efficiency
The 2016 Mazda CX-3 is fitted with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine which produces 146 HP. A 6-speed automatic transmission with the manual shift sport-mode comes standard. According to the EPA, the CX-3 receives up to 29/35 MPG city/highway which is remarkable for a compact SUV.

Safety
The safety features of the CX-3 are pretty extensive: advanced dual front airbags, with side-impact and side curtain airbags and rollover protection (back and front), and LATCH system for children. There are side impact beams as well as a ring structure unibody construction.
